It’s a dealer installed accessory. They had stick on bumper guards for folks who might keep their car in an urban area and don’t want to worry about damaging the bumper cover.

That explains why I’ve never seen it before, also makes sense. They could have tried a bit harder to make it stand out a bit less though.

agree, they are great.
though intrestingly, the ones I find with a manual and AWD tend to be the V6 motor...
